The Murray Hall (Loughton), Essex On Tour
The Murray Hall is owned and managed by Loughton Town Council. It is a modern building fitted out to a high specification, purpose built as a community hall and fully accessible to people with disabilities.
The building is available for hire for all sorts of purposes such as family celebrations, theatre performances, groups’ activities and meetings. There is a large airy hall consisting of about 140 square metres with a wooden floor, a fully fitted kitchen for food preparation and serving with commercial-style equipment which includes a range cooker and dishwasher. There is a separate bar area which is unlicensed but you can ‘bring your own’ as it has a good choice of glasses and drinks coolers. If required, a demountable stage is available which can be assembled by the caretaker as instructed by the hirer.
The Murray Hall’s rear landscaped garden is also available for receptions, parties and other events. The landscaped garden is also ideal for taking photographs.

Getting to The Murray Hall (Loughton)
Rectory Lane A1168 with the junction Borders Lane (Epping Forest College) continue along Borders Lane pass the college and straight across a mini roundabout. The hall is located on the left hand side of the road.
There is a small car park with designated disabled bays, other parking in nearby roads.
