The Wine Centre, Colchester
The Wine Centre is run by husband & wife team Anthony & Janet Borges of Great Horkesley, together with Merrill Harrington of Stoke by Nayland, all of whom have a wealth of retail experience. Anthony is responsible for the selection of Wines, Beers & Spirits and is passionate about the role of an independent wine merchant in today`s world.
There is a Deli within the wine shop which provides an assortment of foods ideal for picnic-lunches, hors d`ouvres and canapés, the inspiration and source for the burgeoning hamper business. And now The Wine Centre has introduced Riedel Glass and Culinary Concepts to their portfolio, completing the wine-dining experience and providing an innovative selection of gifts for wine and food lovers.
There are also occasional festivities held in the garden that are definitely not to be missed!

Getting to The Wine Centre
Get off the A12 at Colchester Central and follow the A134 Sudbury road all the way to Great Horkesley (north of Colchester town).
Thw Wine Centre is situated on the A134 Colchester to Sudbury road (The Causeway) in Great Horkesley, just north of The Yew Tree and School Lane.
A limited amount of on site parking is available. Additional parking is available 200 yards down the road at The Yew Tree.
