Town Park, Halstead
The Town Park Public Gardens form the oldest recreational area in the town. They were created by money raised in 1897 to provide a suitable memorial for Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee and were formally opened in 1902. This is very much a formal park with tree-edged grass areas and attractive flower beds.
