Twickenham Stadium, London
Seating an impressive 82,000 spectators, Twickenham is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world.
It's hard to believe that this historic venue began life as a humble cabbage patch, but that's exactly what it was before the RFU purchased the land for just over £5,500 in 1907. The first game was played in 1909 - a battle between local sides Harlequins and Richmond - and here we are, over 100 years later, still going strong.
Parking is available at Twickenham Stadium, but as the stadium is located in a residential area the surrounding roads are for resident permit holders only, meaning any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away.
Our off-site car park is called Rosebine Avenue and is next to the Twickenham Stoop (Harlequins RFC) on the A316 (Chertsey Road). This is approximately 10 minutes walk from the stadium and has easy access to the M3, M25 and beyond.
Larger vehicles, such as transit vans, stretch limousines, minibuses and coaches can be accommodated in some of the RFU car parks, subject to availability.
President's Suite
This facility is used by Royalty and VIP’s on Match Days. This prestigious facility, which houses the famous “Ghost Painting”, is suitable for boardroom style meetings or formal dinners.
Overlooking the pitch, the President’s Suite has an “ante room” which lends itself very well to pre meal drinks.
This room is also licensed to host civil weddings and partnership ceremonies.
Twickenham Stadium Seating Plan
Twickenham Stadium is general admission only and no seating plan is available for this venue.
Getting to Twickenham Stadium
Twickenham Stadium is on the northern side of the A316 into London. From the M25 motorway, exit at Junction 12 on to the M3. This becomes the A316, and Twickenham Stadium is off the Whitton Road roundabout next to the Lexus/Toyota car dealership.
From London, turn right off the A316 at the Whitton Road roundabout. Please arrive early to avoid congestion and temporary road closures prior to the event.
