Abba Illusion have gone to great lengths to be certain that not only is the music very accurate, but that they look fantastic with authentic costumes. The remarkable Abba Illusion tribute band feature all the memorable songs including - Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Super Trouper, The Winner Takes It All, Mamma Mia and many, many more of those unforgettable hits from Abba. With the look, costumes, Swedish accents and a dash of humour. The show is a theatrical experience which is sure to take you back to the 1970s!

The UK Bee Gees
The UK Bee Gees are the most realistic tribute to the Bee Gees that you will ever see or hear. As the trio appear on the stage you can just feel the air of amazement by the audience. The UK Bee Gees have gone to great lengths to be certain that not only is the music very accurate, but that they look and act every inch as the Gibb brothers. All the great songs, the harmony voices, the look (modern or 70s / 80s style), the mannerisms and the dry humour – all are faithfully re-created. From the first opening song of ‘You Should Be Dancing’, all the way through the romantic ballads such as ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and finally into the fantastic disco film tracks such as ‘Night Fever’ and ‘Stayin’ Alive’, you can be forgiven for thinking that the real Bee Gees are there with you!

The Empire Theatre Halstead was revived as a place of entertainment in 1978 after a period of inactivity that stretched back to 1971 when the Foulconbridge brother's tenure came to an end. Halstead Town Council bought the building and then leased it to the Empire Theatre Trust with the intention of restoring the Empire Theatre as a place for local entertainment that had been the envy of many similar sized towns during earlier decades of the 20th century.

Today the Empire Theatre is fully independently run by the Empire Theatre Trust which is made up of a collection of enthusiastic local residents giving their time on a voluntary basis. Many forms of entertainment are put on at the theatre including tribute acts, 60s concerts, country music, comedy, drama productions and pantomime - all making great use of a state of the art lighting desk and new sound equipment provided by trustees.
