Moscow Ballet - Coppélia
Following their sell-out show last year, a hand-picked selection of some of Russia’s finest dancers return to the Queen’s for another stunning performance that will capture your imagination.
Coppelia is one of the jewels of classical ballet. Based on a wondrous comic fairytale we follow a love story infused with charm and humour. There's an eccentric old toymaker, Doctor Coppélius, the feisty Swanilda, her fiancé Franz and the amazingly life-like doll, Coppélia, together with a supporting cast of youthful, mischievous characters.
The sensational Moscow Ballet has toured throughout the world with the very best dancers from the Bolshoi, Kirov and Ballet Theatres of Kiev and Odessa. This talented company have deservedly gained vast international acclaim. World-renowned soloists Nadejda Ivanova, Ekaterina Shalyapina, Andrey Lyapin, and Alexander Sedov lead this fabulous Moscow Ballet Production under the direction of Elik Melikov.

Under the Artistic Direction of Bob Carlton, The Queen's Theatre is home to cut to the chase... the country's only resident company of actor-musicians who present a diverse, popular and innovative programme of eight main-house productions each year.
